Reno, Nev. (December 20, 2010) -- The accounting and business-consulting firm of J. Frank Fisher, Ltd. and John Cunha, CPA announced that they have signed an agreement to merge effective January 1, 2011.
Cunha brings more than 30 years of tax law experience to J. Frank Fisher, Ltd. With extensive international business and tax knowledge, Cunha has worked with Fortune 100 and start-up companies in consulting, financial services, hospitality, retail and manufacturing. Before joining the Fisher team, Cunha worked as a high-level executive with Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell International, Yum Brands, Deutsche Bank, Salomon Brothers, and Price Waterhouse, specializing in equity, compensation and benefits design. While at Hewlett-Packard, Cunha was responsible for the compensation leadership of TSG, HP's largest business, with more that $40 billion in revenue, 80,000 employees and a total cost of workforce at $14 billion.
Not only will this merger increase the breadth of talent of the firm and add more depth to their presence in northern Nevada, it will increase the firm's expertise and practice of California tax law.
