5 injured in construction collapse at McCarran Airport
Five workers were injured in a construction collapse early today at McCarran International Airport. The accident occurred about 7 a.m. at the airport's Terminal 3 roadways project. The five workers were inside a circular rebar cage at the time of the collapse. The cage was 6 feet in diameter and 70 feet long and was on the ground at the time. County firefighters had to cut a hole in the rebar cage to extricate the workers.
